Have you considered playing on the w1 server instead? Seems more active - though there are some "dead" packs. There are packs here looking for members.

I have lv 39 Treasury and lv 38 Fortress. Working toward the higher levels.
would be easier with some friends

I don't only demand influence, don't require, even if help, gold donation.
