Default Hit chance, in numbers

How does the attack value influence the chance to successfully hit an opponent?
After having gathered some data, I came up with following:

The opponent with higher attack value ATTACK1 has a 98.5% chance of hitting.
The weaker opponent has a chance of 0.985 * Exp( -7 * RelDiff * RelDiff)
where RelDiff is the relative difference of the lower attack Value ATTACK2 from the higher value ATTACK1:
RelDiff = (ATTACK1 - ATTACK2) / ATTACK1

Approx. diff. in percentage: ..10 | 20 | 30 | 40 | 50 | 60 | 65
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Chance to hit in percentage: 90 | 75 | 50 | 30 | 20 | 10 | 05

For example, if the weaker opponent has a 30% lower attack value than the stronger opponent, that opponent only hits half the time.
